Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a casual gathering with friends, these noodles are sure to please. Top it off with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley for a final touch of flavor and presentation.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cups ground Italian sausage
  • 3 cups egg noodles, cooked al dente
  • 2 1/3 cups canned tomatoes with juice, diced
  • 1 large green pepper, cleaned & diced
  • 2/3 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tsp garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup white cooking wine
  • 2/3 tsp dried basil
  • Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Pinch of pepper

Instructions

1.Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add green pepper and Italian sausage. Cook until sausage turns brown, and peppers are tender.
2.Reduce heat to medium-low and add garlic and Italian seasoning to the skillet. SautƩ for about 30 seconds or until fragrance.
3.Pour in the white cooking wine and allow the mixture to simmer until the liquid reduces by half.
4.Add diced tomatoes with their juice, salt, basil, and pepper to the skillet and mix well.
5.Add the cooked egg noodles and stir until well combined and evenly coated.
6.Heat the mixture until it is heated through.
7.Once ready, transfer the noodles to the serving bowl and garnish with parsley and grated Parmesan cheese before serving
