According to reports from the Mirror, João Marinho Neto officially ascended to the title of the world’s oldest living man last November following the death of the previous record holder, John Tinniswood, at age 112.

At the time of Tinniswood’s passing, João was 112 years and 52 days old. He has since reached another staggering milestone, celebrating his 113th birthday on October 5.
